Man arrested minutes after painting swastikas in Flatbush

Flatbush, Brooklyn, NY – A man was arrested for
painting swastikas in the heart of the Orthodox Jewish community of Midwood /
Flatbush – just minutes after he scrawled them on Tuesday.

Sources tell YWN that at around 3:00PM a black male drew a
large swastika on the sidewalk on Coney Island Avenue and Avenue J in front of
the Chase Bank. A person passing by called Flatbush Shomrim as well as the
NYPD.

Both responded in seconds. Before they arrived, the man had
already made another swastika on Avenue J and East 12 Street.

Officers from the NYPD’s 70 Precinct took the man into custody
without further incident.
