A woman defending Hasidim in Uman was cut with a knife

Uman – last weekend three unidentified assailants attacked the public activist Ludmila Daschizkia and tried to carve a swastika on her chest with a knife. Daschizkia, known for her active support of Jewish pilgrims who arrive in the city, told the police that she doesn’t know the real reasons for the attack. At the same time, there is no doubt that this is not a robbery, since the attackers did not touch her purse.

Daschizkia told IzRus that she miraculously managed to escape from the attackers, who tore her shirt and began to carve a swastika on her body. “I do not know who it was, but it’s an act of intimidation. It could be that the attackers were local neo-Nazis, but I’m not sure about it … Someone might have wanted to provoke an anti-Semitic scandal. I told the police, but I’m afraid they will not find the attackers. Even if they will find them, I was only lightly injured and according to the law they will have to pay a fine only.
