The Federal Government stated in its response (BT-Dr 18/10331) to the Parliamentary question of the political group
“Die Linke” (BT-Dr 18/10161)
that during the third quarter of 2016 three people were injured as a result of
politically motivated crimes with antisemitic background.
According to this report, 144 antisemitic crimes were reported
from July to the end of September 2016: six violent crimes and 29 crimes
involving propaganda offences. According to the response the police have
arrested 74 suspects. Those data may still change “according to later reports
and amendments (some even significantly).
