A Jewish boy was forced to leave school in Uccle due to antisemitic defamations

Uccle Bruxelles – a 12 year old Jewish boy was
forced to change school and go to a Jewish school after suffering repeated antisemitic
defamations, reported   on Tuesday the
Belgian Television (RTBF).

“The boy who suffers verbal and
physical attacks has to leave school. On the other side, the students who
caused this stay in school”, denounced the president of the LBCA , Joel
Rubinfeld,  the student’s “double
punishment”.

Once young students shout “death
to Jews” following terrorist attacks, the problem is beyond antisemitism.
We need to stop this inside the school”, he added.

The victim’s mother decided to press
charges against the flimsy institution. “If I do press charges against
those students it is for the sake of other students regardless their race or
religion, so they will not suffer what my son has suffered”, she added.
