– Vandals desecrated the memorial of the “Valley Squadron Lookout” in
the Carmel park built in memory of the pilots Captain Lior Harari and Major
Yonatan Begin, the grandson of the late Prime Minister Menachem Begin and son of
MK Benny Begin, who have crushed with an F-16 aircraft during training, off the
coast of Haifa. Yesterday visitors discovered a swastika and an Isis Symbol in
Arabic on the monument.
