NYC saw 2015, 2.5% increase in antisemitic incidents

New York City
saw a two and half percent increase in antisemitic attacks in 2015. NYPD’s top
cop Police Commissioner William Bratton said.

“We had 125 antisemitic
incidents in 2015, vs 122 from 2014. It’s a 2.5% increase,” Bratton told Jewish
community leaders last week Wednesday.

“We’re always
distributed with anti Semitic incidents,” Bratton added.

“I think we
actually have in NYC the best unit that was created specifically to deal with
hate crimes. We investigate every little of those incidents.”

“We protect the
rights of every religious group. Hate crimes always remain a significant
concern for the NYPD.”
