West Ham fans chant antisemitic abuse

Watford – Police are looking for these men after a man was
subjected to a barrage of antisemitic abuse on a train in Watford.

The victim boarded a train in Watford at 7pm on Saturday evening.“A
group of West Ham fans were already seated and, as the train pulled away, they
began to sing antisemitic songs,” said PC Michael Botterill.

“The man, quite rightly, took
offence to these vile songs and challenged the group over their language.
However, they refused to stop and continued with their chanting.”

A number of other passengers reported the incident. Police believe that
the suspects left the train at Northampton.

PC Botterill said: “This sort of casual racism has gone unchallenged for
too long.
