Vandals desecrated with colorful graffiti a memorial sign at the memorial site
of the Mittelbau-Dora labor camp. Moreover, the flowers that adorned the former
concentration camp were destroyed.
Mayor Matthias Ehrhold and the manager of the
memorial site, Stefan Hördler, condemned the incident as an attack on the human
dignity of the victims of Nazism. Local authorities lodged a complaint with the
police.
