Münster – Unknown offender apparently shot with an
air rifle at the window of the new banquet hall. It remains unclear when
exactly the shooting took place. The incident apparently occurred in the last
week of August.
Videotapes could not assist in determining offence time.
Technical police investigation is still underway. Jewish community joined the
expert’s estimation that the hole, in diameter of 5mm, was created from a
gunshot. Initial estimates state that it was originated from an air rifle.
Police spokesman, Roland Vorholt, confirmed that the bullet
was fired from the boardwalk’s direction. The bullet was not found. It did not
penetrate, but hit the front glass window of the double
windows.
