Aubervilliers –
Shortly after 8am on Thursday soldiers guarding Shneur school in Aubervilliers were
attacked using objects thrown at them. Although not a serious assault, soldiers
of the 48 Battalion of Agen, who are entrusted with the security of this Jewish
institution, had lodged a complaint.
The person responsible for this act was quickly arrested
– a drunk 20-year-old man. He will be
charged with injury to person in the line. The soldiers are deployed since the
attacks last January, as part of the Vigipirate
anti-terror program. Shneur institution is both a
school and a synagogue.
