Kavala – The address of Panayotis Sgouridis, member of the Independent
Greeks party who represented the Greek government at the unveiling ceremony of the
memorial to Holocaust victims, has been also harshly criticized at the social
media but also by the Central Board of Jewish Communities in Greece.
Mr. Sgouridis compared the “atrocities of WWII” with the “blockade of
Gaza” arguing that victims could become perpetrators.
