Brussels Criminal Court: Prosecution seeks eight-month probation against Laurent Louis

On Tuesday afternoon, the Prosecution sought eight-month probation
and a fine of 3000 euros against former MP Laurent Louis, in front of the
Criminal Court of Brussels. Laurent Louis was directly summoned to the court by
the Coordinating Committee of Jewish Organizations of Belgium (Comité de
Coordination des Organisations juives de Belgique – CCOJB) following his words
relating to Holocaust denial and antisemitic remarks.

“Mr. Louis admitted the facts, but, to my surprise, he
does not apologize,” argued the Prosecutor.
