Simachi
– Vandals have
smashed the memorial plaque standing at the entrance of a Jewish cemetery in
the city of Simachi in Azerbaijan. The stone plaque bearing the words
“Jewish Cemetery” in Hebrew and Azerbaijani
and a Star of David had been placed at the entrance to the cemetery in 2012.
