Teaneck, N.J – Three high school juniors in Bergen County on
Wednesday found hate flyers in the student parking lot near Torah Academy of
Bergen County (TABC) and other religious buildings.
The flyers stated, “Islamic Negroes Hate Jews” and were found in the
parking lot near Palisade Avenue. Another flyer was found near the parking lot
behind the new gym
The students immediately brought the signs to the school
administration’s attention. The police were informed and two officers were
dispatched to TABC within 15 minutes. The same signs were found at a number of
houses of worship on Wednesday, mostly shuls and one church. The police took
the flyers as evidence. They took the necessary details for their report. The officers
also walked the perimeter of the campus to ensure there were no additional
signs.
The school will be submitting footage from the security cameras to the
police in case there is something useful for their investigation.
