2007 Antisemitism report in Argentina

The Annual Report on Antisemitism in Argentina was presented on September 23rd at a shared event organized by DAIA, the Jewish Congregation of Argentina, and the INADI, the Council for the Prevention of Discrimination and Racism. The report pointed to a decrease of 40% in Antisemitic incidents for the year of 2007. (348 incidents were reported, as opposed to 586 incidents in 2006)

The President of DAIA stressed, in his address that in spite of the decrease in the number of incidents, there had been an increase in the number of incidents accompanied by violence, as well as an increase in the use of the Internet as a means to proliferate Antisemitism.
