A teacher who is antisemitic and believes in UFOs

Sanremo – A teacher of literature and history adopts the conspiracy theory of September 11. He raises doubts whether the attack, last April, on Chigi Palace, was for real. He is a supporter of the “Chemical stripes”, i.e., the UFOs and owing to several articles he wrote, he is accused of antisemitism.

All this happens in the city of Sanremo, and probably not by chance. The teacher, Antonio Marciano, teaches at the famous classical-scientific high school “Cassini”, where Italo Calvino and Eugenio Scalfari also studied. The author of the book “The baron in the trees” (Italo Calvino) described reality by means of a universe, places and communities of which no one had ever thought before. But one cannot find parody and irony in the blogs which the teacher Marciano operates alone – as ZRET or with his brother Rosario – as STRAKER – and which have become a target of criticism on the internet. On Facebook, the page “The racist propaganda of ZRET” was launched with the teacher’s picture attached.

Several of his articles appear there, one about the truth of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, and another about the massacre of the Israeli sportsmen in Munich in 1972. He writes: “We doubt the fact that the massacre was carried out by Palestinians ”and later on, regarding September 11, 2001 – “The self-inflicted attacks of the international intelligence services against the twin towers and the Pentagon.”

The teacher Marciano does not recant on these publications: “This is not the first time we are being attacked and I have already discussed it with the director. We also reported these anonymous harassers, but we never got anything from the Justice systems. In any case every citizen has the right for his own opinions.”

Marciano does not see any problem with suitability to his work: “Although I think a substantial part of the official history is false, in school I teach according to the program, but sometimes I discuss these topics with the students. Often, they are already aware of the big lies we are being fed with. Regarding the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, I just quoted an article that is not mine, and regarding other subjects I am definitely not an anti-Semite; I only try to describe the true events.”
