Cote St. Luc home targeted by firebomb

Montreal – Jewish residents of a home on tiny Collins Road, just off Cavendish Blvd. in Cote St. Luc were startled when an incendiary device was tossed into their home at about 2:15 a.m. Saturday.

 

Nobody in the house, which is home to six residents, was injured in the attack.

 

Police representative Simon Delorme told CTV Montreal that it’s rare that a Molotov cocktail is tossed into a home and said that investigators are attempting to determine what might have inspired the potentially lethal attack .

 

The home suffered only minor damage and the arson squad is continuing its investigation.
