Neustadt – A local Jewish cemetery was badly desecrated by young vandals.
The first report of the event came from local residents and passers-by, who contacted the Jewish community when they noticed that the cemetery had been badly damaged.
Community employees who rushed to the site were horrified to discover the cemetery in shambles. According to a report published by the local Jewish community, dozens of tombstones were smashed and strewn throughout the cemetery grounds.
The Jewish community notified the local police, who began investigating. As of now, there are no leads in this case.
