Mogilev– in one of the central streets in town a slanderous antisemitic inscription was discovered, but the municipal services are not in a hurry to erase it.
The city residents promptly informed the municipality about the graffiti and asked to paint over the inscription, but so far nothing has been done. The city residents are angry not about the inscription itself, which is not uncommon in Mogilev, but about the indifference and feet dragging of the municipal authority which is responsible for cleanliness and order in the city.
This is not the only antisemitic inscription directed against Jews, which has lately appeared throughout the town. Just recently the inscription “Shoah” with mysterious symbols next to it appeared in the “Mir 1” neighborhood. Moreover, graffiti with Nazi symbols are not a rare occurrence in the city.
