The annual report of the national advisory council (in French) for human rights is characterized by a two-fold approach, namely, information and awareness. While in the year 2011 the government enlisted in the development of a national action program against antisemitism and racism, the council’s report and the recommendations attached to it especially underline the need for active intervention. This kind of organization is possible only by implementing a specific political strategy, adapted at the national level, together with involvement of all the public and private players active in this area.
