Students arrested after putting swastika pumpkin carving outside window of Jewish resident

Lawrence , KS – Two male students from University of Kansas were arrested Friday at McCollum Hall for disorderly conduct.

 

According to KU Office of Public Safety crime reports, the men placed a carved pumpkin with a swastika hat outside the window of a Jewish resident.

 

Capt. Schuyler Bailey, a KUPD spokesman, said the men were issued notices to appear in municipal court.
