Antisemitic graffiti found at school

Thompson, CT – Tourtellotte Memorial High School in Thompson was on lockdown briefly on Friday after the principal found antisemitic graffiti painted on the school building.

When the principal arrived at 6:45 a.m., the graffiti, including swastikas, was found painted on the school building, according to the superintendent.

Students were kept in their homerooms and school officials called state police, who searched the grounds to look for the perpetrators but no one was found and the lockdown was lifted.

All of the graffiti was removed and school officials are working with police to find out who is responsible.
