Poll worker ousted over remark

East Stroudsburg, PA – An East Stroudsburg Ward 5 poll worker accused of uttering an antisemitic remark on primary day won’t work another election,
said.

 

Monroe County Voter Registration Director Sara May-Silfee

The unidentified worker made the remark to another poll worker and it was overheard by a voter, May-Silfee said.

 

She spoke to all election workers at the polling place and discussed the matter with the Monroe County Elections Board, resulting in the decision.
