Jerusalem – Early in the morning, before dawn, strangers sprayed at the Ammunition Hill site hate signs against Zionism, such as “Günter Grass was right”, “Zionism is the mother of all sins” and “Miserable Zionists”, and they even tried to burn the giant Flag of Israel hoisted there.
The Mayor of Jerusalem, Mr. Nir Barkat, vehemently condemned the act and sent municipality teams to have the said hate signs removed, and to assist in restoring the site to its previous condition and in letting the planned weekly ceremonies be performed as usual.
A complaint was filed with the police, and they began their investigations.
