The victim was walking along the pavement on his way to Shabbat afternoon services at his synagogue when a car drove past him and one on the occupants threw a bag of ketchup at him. The ketchup hit him in the back making a large mess of his coat.
He did not manage to take a description of either the car or the occupants.

The victim was accosted by two girls, one of whom was Jewish and who she knew. One of the offenders shouted “hanging Jew” and the other pushed her to the ground.
