LeBron James accused of making antisemitic remarks

Ohio – Miami Heat forward LeBron James came under fire after he was allegedly heard speaking antisemitic remarks at the Mandel Jewish Community Center in Ohio Monday.

According to TMZ.com, James, who was a last-minute fill-in for one of the teams, was reported as saying, “These Jews suck at basketball,” which sparked a confrontation with a worker inside the center.

The man, who runs a kosher sandwich shop inside the community center was reported as telling James, “Princess James get out of Cleveland” and “F— you, you ruined the NBA.” The man was later contacted by his boss and was suspended three days for the verbal attack.

While a representative for James did not comment on the incident, a member of the team James was playing on said the claims of antisemitic remarks were “nonsense” and that the small forward couldn’t have been nicer.
