Poldis 2010 provides an overview of the recorded incidents of discrimination

In 2010 the number of recorded incidents of discrimination based on increased compared to the years 2008 and 2009. Discrimination in the form of insult is the most recorded in 2010. This is reflected in the annual crime image discrimination Poldis 2010 by the police. The report provides an overview and analysis of police data from the discrimination incidents in 2010.

 

Increase in recorded incidents of antisemitism on the grounds


In 2010 the number of incidents recorded on the basis of antisemitism rose to 11.3 percent from 9.4 percent in 2009. The Rotterdam-Rijnmond region recorded the most incidents on the basis of antisemitism. The number of incidents recorded on the basis of religion in general in 2010 dropped to 4.3 percent from 5.3 percent in 2009.
