Antisemitic graffiti

Chester Township — Police are looking for the person who spray-painted antisemitic graffiti on garages and equipment at a township park.

Councilman Robert May said the vandalism took place beginning two months ago at Jack’s Park, located just off Ebright Street. In addition to the graffiti, he said the vandals put padlocks on swings, then returned a few nights ago to remove the swings completely.

“This wasn’t something a kid could have done,” May said. “You need a specific tool that can spread an S-hook to take these things apart. It’s more than just a child’s mischief — this is someone who doesn’t want the kids in the park.”
