Antisemitic harassment in hairdressing salon in Brussels.

Brussels – as a result of an argument between the owner of a hairdressing salon located in the central of Brussels, and a female employee whose name indicates that she is of  Jewish origin, she suffered comments about her religion, made by the Personnel Manageress who is also the sister of the owner.

The Personnel Manageress said to the female employee: “I know that we don’t have a wailing wall here but if you like I can lend you this wall over there for you to cry against. When you feel like crying do it over there. Do you want the wall?”.

According to the reports this kind of behavior was not limited to anti-Semitic comments. Employees in the shop refuse to serve veiled women and persons of foreign origin. Several customers have already complained.

As a result of this incident the victim could no longer work in such an environment, and she left.
