Antisemitic remarks shouted at Holocaust Day remembrance

Utrecht – the remembrance ceremony on Holocaust day in Anne Frank square in Utrecht was interrupted by a person who shouted out antisemitic remarks. The man shouted from a passing car during the two minutes silence in memory of those who perished in the Holocaust.

 

The Police immediately followed the vehicle and stopped it not far from the square. Three persons were arrested by the Police.

 

Two of them were released by the Police in the evening. On suspect is still being detained. This is the person who shouted out the remarks and who also insulted several policemen on his arrest.
