Borough Park: Neo Nazis looking for a Yeshiva

A Yeshiva student who was on his way back from evening prayer in Borough Park neighborhood in New York was approached by three skinheads, who wanted to know the name and address of the biggest Yeshiva in the neighborhood.

The Yeshiva student identified the symbol of a U.S neo Nazi organization on the wind coats that they were wearing.

The student replied that he is not a local and suggested to call and ask a friend who lives in the neighborhood. He quickly called the local ‘Ha’shomrim’ organization, and – while speaking in Yiddish – alerted them to the place. Few volunteers quickly arrived and drove the group away from the neighborhood.

The police suspects that a group of young neo Nazis arrived to the neighborhood to attack Jewish targets.

Rabbi Isaac Glak, who coordinates between the Jewish community and the police, says that the police is aware of this phenomenon and tries to track the group down.
