On Friday, 10 May 2002, a 16 year-old Jewish youth was attacked in the Saint Pierre section of Bordeaux. The youth was attacked by 8 Arabs who studied with him in the same school and knew that he is Jewish. The attack was accompanied by curses and threats. The youth was slightly injured but required medical attention.
