On 16 March 2002, an explosive charge went off at the entrance of the Jewish cemetery located in West Berlin near Herr Street. The explosion caused minor damage – glass windows were broken and the walls of the office were damaged by shrapnel. Several floor tiles and a planter standing at the site were also broken.
