On 10 April 2002, a stone was thrown at a window at the “Beit Aharon” Synagogue in the Laranjeiras section of Rio de Janeiro. A week previously, eggs and a bottle full of red ink were thrown at the same synagogue. There were no casualties in these attacks, but damage was caused in both of them.
