On 12th April 2002, at the Jewish cemetery in Cronenbourg, a suburb of Strasbourg, some 20 gravestones and a wall were discovered daubed with swastikas and antisemitic graffiti. The police mounted an investigation of this, the fourth antisemitic incident in the past month in Cronenbourg.
