New Zealand – Burning of a Car and Swastika Graffiti at a Private Home in Hamilton

On 27 December 2001, vandals set fire to the car standing in the driveway of a private home of a Jewish family in the town of Hamilton. In the moring a large swastika was discovered on the lawn. Diesel fuel that had been poured onto the lawn scorched a swastika 3 meters by 2.5 meters in size in the grass. In addition, the vandals created large SS symbols on the strip of lawn near the road, also with the use of diesel oil.
