Czech – Evacuation of Synagogues in Prague Following a Threat

On 20 December 2001, a telephone call was received at the Jewish Community Center in Prague. The caller said that a bomb had been planted in a synagogue in the city. After the call, the Maisel and Pinkas Synagogues were evacuated. The police searched the premises, but nothing suspicious was found.
