United States – Polls Concerning Antisemitism

According to a series of polls conducted in the United States in the 1980s, only about one quarter of the Jews in the United States (between 21% and 28%) had personally experienced any kind of antisemitism. In a bi-annual public opinion poll published by the American Jewish Committee in late December, the question “Do you think that antisemitism in the U.S. is a problem” was once more presented. 98% of those asked view antisemitism in the United States as “a problem”, 26% view it as “a serious problem” and 67% view it as “somewhat of a problem”.
