Abu-Dhabi’s television station, which broadcasts all over the Arab world and is very popular there, presented a program entitled “Matters of Terror”, which was devoted mostly to viscious antisemitic propaganda against Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. He is portrayed as a bloodthirsty terrorist whose major activity is letting the blood of Arabs and drinking it. In one sketch, Sharon shows a soft drink bottle containing Arab blood to an ultra-orthodox Jew, explaining to him that it is a source of life for Jews. In another sketch, Sharon is depicted as reminiscing about having asked the late Prime Minister Menahem Begin for 20 Arab children, “In order to draw their blood and drink it”. In yet another sketch, the vampire Dracula appears, sinking his teeth into the neck of the actor portraying Ariel Sharon, immediately after which a special news flash comes on reporting that the vampire had died because he had drunk “cruel, cold and contaminated blood”. In still another sketch, Sharon appears as if he is throwing children into a bonfire, and the caption reads “This is a true event which took place in 1944”.
