Burning of a Sukka in Volgograd

On 2 October, 2001, unknown persons burnt down a Sukka which had been erected near a Jewish center in the city of Volgograd. The following day, a Sukka was stolen from the courtyard of the “Or Avner” Jewish school in the city.
