Belgium – The Antisemitic Novel “The Protocols of Zion” Removed from the Bookshops

On 1st March 2007, the novel “The Protocols of Zion” which deals with the antisemitic conspiracy theory has been removed from the shelves of bookshops Belgium following complaints from Jewish groups, according to the Wiesenthal Center in Paris. The Wiesenthal Center report goes on to say that Alex Williams, the CEO of a Belgian bookshop chain, complied with the request to remove the books within 24 hours. The book, which has been boycotted in most countries of the European Union, supports the theory that the Jews are trying to take over the world.
