On 28th May 2002, Fox Television reported that two Pakistani immigrants had been arrested in the town of Hollywood, Florida (north of Miami) on suspicion of planning terrorist attacks against Israeli and Jewish targets in southern Florida. The two had planned attacks against “local Jewish targets”, such as the Israeli Consulate in Miami and the Jewish Community Center (JCC) in Ventura.
