On 12th June 2002, the Board of Governors appointed to maintain the negotiations with the Jewish community on the amount of the reparations to be paid for property stolen or destroyed during the Nazi era, announced that the decision to pay 18.5 million euros over the next five years has been presented to the Jewish community.
