On 5th June 2002, three antisemitic signs were put up in the city of Voronezh in Central Russia, and suspicions were aroused that they might have been boobytrapped. Residents of the city reported this to the police, and after the latter had taken measures used in neutralizing suspicious objects, the signs were taken down.
