On 25th June 2002, a youth, apparently a skinhead, tossed a smoke grenade into a book shop in Liberec, Northern Czech Republic, where a conference with the participation of the Czech Republic’s Chief Rabbi was in session. Fortunately, no one was injured since the conference was held on the top floor of the shop. The youth who was suspected of the crime fled the scene.
