On 29th June 2002, during a march in support of the Chavez Government in the streets of Caracas, the marchers happened to pass by the “Synagogue of the Jewish Association of Caracas” (the main Sephardic synagogue in Caracas) and some of them smeared anti-Israeli and anti-Sharon graffiti on its walls. The graffiti read, “Israel, get out of Palestine”! “Sharon, get out of Palestine”! and “Sharon is the murderer of the Palestinian People”!
