On 21st June 2002, an Islamic organization call “Mujeres Autoconvocadas”, in cooperation with “The House for the Diffusion of Islam” (La Casa Para La Difusion del Islam) held a march in support of the Palestinians. Activists in the Workers’ Socialist Party (PST) also participated. Some 120 people took part in the march, heading towards the Congress Building with the intention of delivering a petition. One of the women marchers compared Sharon to Hitler.
