A radical Muslim organization has offered a reward of Dkr.250 thousand krone (about $35 thousand) to anyone who would murder a prominent Jew. This was published on the front page of the Jutland Posten, a wide-circulation Danish newspaper. The Chairman of the Danish Jewish community told the paper that he had received threatening telephone calls from antisemitic elements, and in one incident the tires of his car had been slashed with a knife.
