On 19th September 2002, a single shot, apparently fired from an air rifle, hit a Jewish youth in the shoulder during a Jewish community event in the home in Brussels of Friends of the Hebrew University. The young man was standing near the entrance to the house with his back to the street, when he suddenly heard a shot and felt a blow to his shoulder. He suffered no injuries. The shot was apparently fired from a passing car.
