Antisemitic Bolsheviks Protest an Opera Presentation in Samara

Some 25 Bolsheviks protested outside the Opera House in Samara against the performance of the opera “Ivan the Terrible”. The protestors claimed that the performance was “Jewish ridicule of the Great Russian Tzar”.
